AFAIK the max doesn't support the Framed-Filter-Id attribute.
My personal suggestion would be to install an Ascend radius server to
complement your current radius server. The free version of the Ascend
radius will likely do the job.
We're currently running several Livingston 2.01 radius servers (backup and
remote) for our PM2E's, as well as several Ascend radius servers for our
two max's. I estimate that we're running around eight different servers that
are all "fed" by converting one original/generic users file. A few small
perl scripts are all it takes and you get the best of both (or more) worlds.
Eventually it's not just the filters, but other features that you won't
get by running just one (more or less) proprietary radius server.
