Your best bet is to use a dedicated Router to handle the BGP. it is very
processor intensive. even if the Max did BGP, i wouldn't use it for that
reason. Have the max forward all packets to a dedicated area router and use
OSPF for internal stuff.

We're very much committed to Ascend gear, but, we're facing problems
with multi-homed connnections (coming up to 8 soon) and need to get
away from these dirty static routes we use.
