Yes, Ascend put in a new "feature" somewhere in 5.0 which sends special attributes to the RADIUS server which breaks the previous behavior. Luckily, you can turn it off: Ethernet->Mod Config->Auth->Auth Send Attr. 6,7=No That should solve your problem. It took me a long while to figure that one out. I think I read on the list that this was added to support UUNET or MSN. Why it was made the default, I have no freaking idea (other than the piss off ISPs and break existing configurations and documentation :) * 0.5 ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) Question about security

Next by Date: (ASCEND) cisco <> ascend

Prev by thread: Re: (ASCEND) cisco <> ascend

Next by thread: (ASCEND) Change in defaults when upgrading from 4.x to 5.0Ap13?

Index(es):

Main

Thread
