Is there any way to have the pipeline grab the DNS address from the ppp negotiation (via ipcp) and then to act as the local networks DNS (ie: I set my local machine's DNS entry to be the pipeline; the pipeline then routes the DNS request to the appropriate DNS server and sends the info back to the local machine)? --rob (Why do I want it ? My Pipeline75 is setup to connect to a corporate network in one profile and an ISP in another. I already have to switch "My Name" and the NAT Profile each time I switch between them (very annoying; why can't this be profile based?), but now it looks like I need to change each machine on the local network to point to the appropriate DNS address) ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) Ascend stock

Next by Date: Re: (ASCEND) Change in defaults when upgrading from 4.x to 5.0Ap13?

Prev by thread: Re: (ASCEND) Denying certain users a radius login (fwd)

Next by thread: (ASCEND) Use of the Radius 'class' attribute

Index(es):

Main

Thread
