With p27 we get more than ten minutes, but not that much more. We are looking at uptimes measured in hours/days rather than weeks/months. If are getting 10 minute uptimes you probably have an Ascend as either a DR or a BDR. If you only have one non-ascend router an old 2501 or a box running GateD will improved your uptime no end (remember to set the OSPF priorities right). -- Alex Bligh GX Networks (formerly Xara Networks) ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Follow-Ups:

Re: (ASCEND) A working OSPF?

From: Matthew Zahorik <maz@albany.net>

 References:

(ASCEND) A working OSPF?

From: Matthew Zahorik <maz@albany.net>

Prev by Date: (ASCEND) Re: What is carrier-class?

Next by Date: RE: (ASCEND) A working OSPF?

Prev by thread: Re: (ASCEND) A working OSPF?

Next by thread: Re: (ASCEND) A working OSPF?

Index(es):

Main

Thread
