No Subject

Considering the documentation that comes with a Max 4048 and all the
changes that have taken place just in the past 5 months alone that we've
been using the unit, I am constantly questioning whether I have the optimal
configuration setup for this unit.

I'd be willing to bet that there's another few dozen of us wondering the
same thing.   I'd also be willing to be that there's someone out there who
(short of the basic technical glitches that may be inherent to the product
itself) does have what could be considered the optimal configuration...

So, cards on the table -- if there is someone who is running under a
similar environment as us that feels that everything is working as well as
it possibly can, could you please post as much of your config as you can
(obviously, no proprietary information please!)  8) either to this list or
privately to my email?

Environment:

- Max 4048
- Ascend Radius for PAP-only authentication
- Software 5.0Ap33
- Using both 56K and ISDN on a single number 
  (23+B)x2, NI-2 switch, B8ZS encoding, ESF framing
