No Subject

Hello all,

I have some questions which are sortof directed towards Kevin and the Ascend Engineers on this list, concerning MAX performance (though I welcome any and ALL input) - I'm trying to get a feel for how to best juggle features vs. load.

On a scale of +3 to -3, with +3 being the greatest performance gain and -3 being the hardest performance hit, how would you guys estimate the effect of these on throughput/load on a MAX?

 - Call filter processing
 - Data filter processing
 - LQM
 - Link compression (is there a lot of variance between the hit from Stac-9 vs. MS-Stac, for instance?)
 - Van Jacobsen header compression
 - Proxy mode
 - Routing vs. bridging

Any other factors that make a big difference?  Kevin?  Matt?
