Allways use xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx . Since DNS has the job to find out which domain is local and which is on the internet, there is no way to use different nameservers depending on the result they would give. You should make sure that the local DNS answers to all requests, not only for the local Domain. This is trivial, though. In addition, you can use yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy as a forwarder for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, this should be best suited for your needs. regards, Ralf ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) Recommendation to Ascend: RE: MAX logging

Next by Date: (ASCEND) local private DNS and distant public DNS on PIPELINE 50

Prev by thread: (ASCEND) local private DNS and distant public DNS on PIPELINE 50

Next by thread: (ASCEND) Ap33 + ISDN = BAD

Index(es):

Main

Thread
