Would it be possible to get the input of the Engineers who design the Max40xx series on what the Disconnect code mean and what will generate them. This information should be standard! I am afraid that lots of them are "catch it all" codes, meaning they fit many type of disconnections. In order to fully use and understand your product, we must be able to tell what does what, you have to provide this information so we can help our customers. Otherwise, your network solution isn't better the other guys. When calling Techsupport they seem to not understand or know what the codes mean, or they give us unclear answers. Have you ever seen Northen Telecom unable to tell you why your DMS spat out error x. If a machine can spit out some error code about a connection, surely an engineer programmed it and he knows what caused it. This must exists, just let us see it :) Regards Cyril Jaouich [CJ837] --------------------- ACC DATA OPERATIONS EASTERN CANADA ---------------------------------- ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) completely boggled by modem callback

Next by Date: (ASCEND) The Alarms ports on the Max40xx

Prev by thread: (ASCEND) The Alarms ports on the Max40xx

Next by thread: (ASCEND) New to Ascend (fwd)

Index(es):

Main

Thread
