I wish there was a way to upgrade the Rockwell modem code on my Max4000 without having to upgrade to a different patch release. I'm at Ap27 with 1.055 Rockwell code... I wish I could be at Ap27 with 1.140 Rockwell code... I wonder if there could be a way in the near future to have Ascend users be able to upgrade 56K code without having to change anything else. Supporting 56K end-users is hard enough without having to sit on pins and needles waiting for better modem code become available through a patch release... Especially when patch releases haven't been very good lately.
