I don't know about the Dutch PTT, but most carriers I've worked with have X.75 connections WITHIN their network. Also when competition comes to the Netherlands (and most of the rest of Europe) you will almost be guaranteed of transiting an X.75 switch. >'Difficult points to AO/DI' seem to lie mostly in the carrier's facilities and >organization, not in the IP gear. For a MAX or Pipeline it should just be MP across >nxB + an X.25 VC; I don't see how that can be so terribly complicated...? (Naive >smile...) Naive would be a good description. :) Matt Holdrege http://www.ascend.com matt@ascend.com ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

References:

Fw: (ASCEND) Pipeline family and Always On/DI?

From: "Peter Kleynjan" <pkleynjan@ixonet.nl>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) K56..

Next by Date: Re: (ASCEND) Max 5.0Ap36

Next by thread: (ASCEND) What the big ones do

Index(es):

Main

Thread
