(ASCEND) Pipe 130 resets

Hi,

Recently (May 11) purchased a Pipe 130 for use as a T1 router in my
house. (Yeah...I got a T1 in my house. There are _some_ advantages
you get working for a small telco).

We finally opened the box on Monday and did a preliminary test. The
P130 will connect to one of the T1 ports in our UT1 card in the TNT.
As we have done with every piece of equipment (Maxen, pipes, etc) we
tested it by using a T1 xover cable from the T1 port on the p130 to
the T1 port on the TNT. 

For some reason, whenever a cable is plugged into the T1 port, the
p130 exhibits the following behavior:

Terminal screen freezes
con(figuration) light comes on
10 seconds later there is a "click" sound
Terminal screen says "power on self test running"
Wan light comes on
10 seconds later, wan light goes off.
Goto 2 and repeat

However, if the cable is unplugged from the Wan (T1, not ISDN) port,
the ethernet and terminal mode works fine.

For testing purposes, we assigned a 192.168.x.x address to the pipe
and the serial route. This has worked in the past.

Any suggestions?
