 On the Advice of Ascend Tech Support, yesterday I turned 'off' the
Auth=Pool (We are using Meritt Radius for Authentication).  And so far
(crossing all apendages) with several MPP callers that have got logged in,
have not lost *any* IP's vs loosing them all the time before the change.

 Not Sure how (if) this would work if you were using the Ascend Based Radius.
