Brett, my dear fellow. Most people here tend to respect that I'm pretty
staight
when things like this are concerned. I try to be as unbiased as possible,
that's
why I'm part of the Customer Satisfaction group rather than Customer Support.
FACT: We have demonstrated interoperability with USR based V.90 client modems.
FACT: We have demonstrated that the V.90 code is stable. Not many of the BETA
testers have commented due to the agreement that nothing would be
discussed
prior to the open BETA. Those that have, stated that they are still
running
the code - i.e. they have not downgraded to the supposedly more "mature"
K56 versions.

They *have been* getting V.90 connections already. Even in the pre-released
versions of the code. Rockwell/Rockwell and Rockwell/USR are working just
fine in the vast majority of cases.
