the only way this should affect users is if they are 
logging in to an "ascend%" term server prompt,
or doing things like direct telnet/rlogin connections
that rely on the Ascend device for DNS resolution.

If your users are using PPP from a Microsoft OS you can
assign DNS servers to them that their OS will contact directly,
or other OSes might need to configure manually for your DNS servers.

Bottom line, this only affects lookups from the terminal server,
and not any DNS data that gets routed across the box.
