(ASCEND) Max4004 6.0.4 Profile problem?
Y'all
I know 6.0.4 is withdrawn but I'm using it in very simple setup with few
problems and going through Change Management to back it out is a bigger
problem than staying put.
Besides unlike some of you ISPs I'm only supporting about 70 users, 2 or
3 on line at a time!
Problem:
I have 7 home users with a workstation and a 3com router, which have
been working fine (even with 6.0.4)
I have local configs for these 2 device networks and I use RADIUS
authentication, which also overrides the local configs - same any way.
User calls to say he can't connect. MAX ok, shows connect, can ping
router but not host. Check Diags for Radius Acct and If and see that it
is incomplete also it says new session created some of the attributes
have not be passed (only 201).
Get my test box, similar setup - straight in no problem.
Disable the local profile and the user gets in straight away
Dial in users no problems, except ocassional 6.0.4 drop out.
