(ASCEND) MAX 4000 reset
Fellows,
I am seeking help on behalf of a collegue of mine. He screwed up a
MAX4000 while upgrading the firmware from 5.1xx to 6.xx. Now the machine
won't boot anymore.
There surely is a hardware way to reset the MAX to factory defaults
resp. to download mode. On a Pipeline 50 it's a jumper to be set and on
power on the box will listen to the serial port.
Can anyone point that jumper in a MAX 4000 out to me? Preferably via
private e-mail.
Any help much appreciated.
Regards,
Wolfgang
