You could try MRTG - it's freeware, PERL based, and gives you nice 
graphs. It queries te bandwidth usage on the specified SNMP rown 
number by default, but you can write the config files to query any 
SNMP OID you wish to monitor.

It writes the output into a log which is then used to make a web page 
for that device, with utilisation graphs which are made using the 
Boutell GD libraries.

Not bad at all...
