Well... it could be related to a problem one of our techs found a
while back. What usually have pop sites that have many PRIs, our PRIs are
arranged into a virtual group that track how many channels are in use,
etc (Our telco uses a DMS-100). When a Max reaches is fully loaded, the
virtual group is the CO knows that the all the PRIs connect to the machine
are full. Now in some cases, if a user disconnects, the CO doesn't ack the
disconnect and still believes that the PRIs are full.
We have been running many packet traces on the d-channel of our
PRIs. Our telco has informed us that the problem comes from the Max
waiting too long to ack that the release was completed. We are still
investigating with them, but has anyone ever seen this problem (ie a
channel on your max always stays free?)

Also, while running the packet analyser on our Pri we saw bizzare
stuff from the ascend. Usually a disconnect is has follow:

> From: User Status: Ok
> Type: DISConnect <45>
> From: Network Status: Ok
> Type: RELease <4D>
> From: User Status: Ok

According to what I could find on the net on ISDN sig this is
correct (it is missing acks, but you at least get the picture).

This is where it gets confusing why did the ascend say Release
completed before the network said release?

We are still working on this problem, but I think we get 185 maybe
because of broken ISDN code in the max... I'll update the list as we get
more data collected.

	Thanks
