(ASCEND) RELEASE 2.1b2 for MAX TNT/V.90 open BETA
The 2.1b2 beta release for the MAX TNT is now available to registered users
on www.ascend.com. The user will see a link to the Beta Agreement Form
from their logon confirmation screen. The agreement starts at:
http://www.ascend.com/private/beta
If the user accepts the agreement they are taken to an index page with
links to all of the available images.
The 2.1b2 beta release for the MAX TNT contains the following:
Corrections:
* TR 2449 Refresh -t did not update initial-banner from RADIUS.
* TR 2860 FE-18 was observed on E1 cards with R2 signaling.
* TR 2994 Backup parameter did not work properly.
* TR 3016 TCP headers were corrupted when VJ compression was enabled.
* TR 250184 External-Auth profile did not allow null Acct-Key and Auth-Key
values.
* TR 250269 Wrong ifOperStatus from the SNMP agent for a swan port in the
MIB-2.
* TR 250279 IP routing table was sometimes not updated correctly.
* FE-179 with UDP event queues.
* FE-8 when system was running as ATMP Router Home Agent.
* FE-1 following OSPF Database command.
* SNMP Frame Relay circuit table (RFC 1315) did not display all DLCIs.
* Telnet to a system in VRouter network did not work.
* FE-36 occurred when creating a default route for a VRouter.
* The MAX TNT was not processing next-hop routes in RIP-v2 input packets.
* Could not open IPXCP as stand alone WAN protocol.
* HDLC card Warning 106.
* SMNP disconnect codes did not match RADIUS accounting and Syslog codes.
* FE-1 while adding a static ARP entry while a matching ARP entry is pending.
* NavisAccess could not read the interface description for UT1 (Frameline)
cards.
* Slot command could bounce shelf controller.
* VRouter profile names were case-sensitive.
* Could not open more than one ATMP session.
* Host card could FE-29 while attempting to make a TCP connection.
* DNS Local Table memory usage was reduced to prevent possible FE-36.
* During a Frame Relay circuit state change, slot cards could hang with no
fatal log.
* ATMP Foreign Agents did not allow two Mobile Clients with the same IP
address.
* RADIPAD did not release addresses properly.
* DNS lookups could sometimes fail due to UDP port number leak.
* OSPF Database displayed only a partial link-state database.
* FE-1 following OSPF Database command.
* RADIUS Accounting did not work for Immediate modem dialout sessions.
* Modem card could fail without fatal-log with pool calls.
* 100BaseT port on TNT_ETHER2_CARD can now be set to full or half duplex.
* Userstat command could eventually cause Warning 111 (buffer too big).

* FEAT 427 Inband T1 support for ANI (Caller ID) and called number
* FEAT 509654 R2 CLID processing (Philippines)
* FEAT 259163 ATMP resiliency in Primary and Secondary Home Agents

* FEAT 509610 IPX over ATMP
* FEAT 259162 Configurable status and command window sizes
* Rockwell V.90 support
* Switched mode for xDSL lines
* Configurable transmit and receive data rate limits
* RADIPAD support for centralized pool management
* Frame Relay Permanent Virtual Circuit (PVC) Backup
* Profile pathname and status indicators
* Messages about writing profile changes
* New flash card error messages
