(ASCEND) LCP Timeout

I keep getting LCP Timeouts (running pppif on the pipe) between a pipe130
and a TNT running a full T1. Strange thing is it used to work before I
upgraded to 2.1b2. I have two other identical connections on the TNT that
came up fine, but not this one. What exactly is LCP Timeout anyway?
