(ASCEND) Odd log messages: Invalid mdm con str
I am getting the following log messages from a dialup user (Win95, 14.4
modem to a MAX running 6.1.7 over PRI):
Sep 1 18:11:03 max4048 ASCEND: slot 6 port 6, Invalid mdm con str [MBID 305; 804823xxyy->xxxyyzz]
I grepped the logs back a couple weeks and they all seem to be from his
phone number, no other numbers.. Ideas? Am I right in assuming this entry
is indicating that the MAX didn't recognize the CONNECT message the modem
sent to it? Could this user be connecting in a method not defined in the
MAXen? (CONNECT/14400/NONE or something odd like this?) Has anyone else
seen such entries?
I have about 40-50 entries in the log dating back to August 26th.
