RE: (ASCEND) Lucent -=-> Ascend --> ? (fwd)

Competition is good, and more competition is usually better for the consumer. I would rather see Microsoft or Oracle buy Ascend so I could get some good software to go with my Maxen's and maintain the level of competition. And if horses were wishes, beggars would ride. 

Is megazone.org a non-profit? Just curious. I don't see many ISP's with "org" domains.

I didn't see Ascend on the list of Industry representatives going to ISPF in October. Is Ascend going to ISPF? Ascend needs to put a couple of their technical staff on the front lines to show they are customer service oriented. I would expect the sales side to be represented by one of their distributors.

Could be, but if they're going to do that, they could also just make the
PM-4 the TNT II and add the other media cards.  It is a new design anyway. ;-)
