Re: (ASCEND) Fw: 766815 Radius log trash in 6.1.7
It is not clear from your message where you are looking for assistance from
this mailing list or just blowing off steam.
If the former, then you might try working around the problem with the RADIUS
server log messages by creating for the pseudo-user entries that the MAX is
sending authentication requests for.

>>for route-max1-1: max1.mylink.net.1025, id=4
Although you don't explicitly state which RADIUS server you are using,
judging by the log message however, it appears you are using the free
Ascend RADIUS server.
If this is true then you might try the following example user entry (this
example is for "route-max1-1". You would need to create similar entries
for "dovbs-max1-1", "bridge-max1-1", "pools-max1", etc.)
route-max1-1 Password = "noway", NAS-Port = 66000
By having a matching entry in the users file, you will stop the log messages.
By using a password that differs from the pseudo-user password, you will cause
the RADIUS server to send an Access-Reject message.
By using an "invalid" NAS-Port, you prevent the entries from being used
inappropriately to login to the NAS.
You do not need any reply-items because you are not going to configure
anything.
