Hi,

Can anyone pls tell me how the ascend Max 4000 (running radius)  decide
on the name of the field (stop records) when sending stop records to the
radius server.

I have two Max  4000 which run on the same Rev 5.0Ap42eik.m40 gives out
two different fields when sending the stop record.

Max A
            .
            .
            .
        Ascend-First-Dest = 202.100.32.25
        Caller-Id = "7882924"
        Framed-Protocol = PPP

Max B

            .
            .
            .
        Ascend-First-Dest = 202.10.25.26
        Client-Port-DNIS = "4686083"
        Framed-Protocol = PPP


What is the difference bet the Caller-Id and Client-Port-DNIS ?

How they decide on this two different field ?
