RE: (ASCEND) Pipeline 220 - Very slow



No firewall installed.  We are running bare bones with just one Ethernet
port active (for testing).  I have eliminated any extra devices that I
thought might effect traffic and conflicts.  It is setup exactly as our
PL130.

		Sounds like an ARP problem to me, due to the dying-off after
some time. Are
		you running proxy ARP on more than one device? You say you
have a "secure
		internal network". What's securing it? Perhaps a firewall is
interfering?
		Have you looked at traceroute?
