(ASCEND) Max4000 failure 5.0Ap51

Due to a fsck-up with SWBell, my ISDN dial-up PRI which *should* roll over
to my regular modem/ISDN dial-up PRIs, instead rolls over to my dedicated
PRIs. The trouble is, we moved them all to a separate box without an IP
pool (since there's no need to allocate dynamic IPs for dedicated,
fixed-IP connections. Anyway....after accepting some number of dial-up
calls, the Max starts refusing *all* calls -- even those from fixed-IP
customers which it should honor. The only fix is resetting the Max.

Now, does anyone know if this behavior is documented somewhere? If so, is
it fixed in later versions?

(We've given the Max an IP pool temporarily until the situation is
resolved, but this is an odd failure mode, so I thought I'd share.)
