(ASCEND) Max X000 and dynamic pools...

Hello,

Let me ask a question : I want Maxes to allocate my Radius authenticated
users a dynamic address coming from a pool defined on the Max. This can be
easily done with an Ascend-Assign-IP-Pol = 1 and defining the pool
number 1 on the Max.

Now, let's imagine that I want the same users to have an adresse from
pool #1 OR pool #2 because pool #1 is too small, and I have no free address
before or after to extend it, but I have a free block to create pool #2.

I presume I have to remove the Ascend-Assign-IP-Pool = 1 from
my users profile, but will the Max have the intelligence to go
from pool #1 to pool #2 when #1 is full ?
And them, imagine I also have a pool #4 for 'special' users, and I don't
want stadard users to got an IP from pool #4 ? Defining #1 and #2 big enough
is sufficient so that when #2 is exhaudted, I will have adresses freed in #1
and them the Max will go to #1 instead of #4 ?

In fact, could someone explain me fully detailed the Max IP allocation
strategy when more than one pool is definedon the Max and the radius
profile tells "Got an IP from the Max" ?

Regards,
Paul
