(ASCEND) RADIUS Framed-Route limited to 50?
I am using the freeware Ascend Radius daemon for authentication. I am
currently working on backing up my POP's automatically. This will be
done by having a MAX 4000 dial (ISDN) into a MAX TNT using MPP. I want
to use "per profile static routes" for this purpose. In other words,
I have a profile that looks like:
popname Password = "password"
User-Service = Framed-User,
Ascend-Send-Passwd = "tntname",
Framed-Protocol = MPP,
Ascend-Maximum-Channels = 8,
Framed-Address = 172.30.10.1,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.240,
Ascend-Idle-Limit = 600,
Framed-Route = "172.30.11.0/24 172.30.10.1 1",
Framed-Route = "172.30.12.0/24 172.30.10.1 1",
Framed-Route = "172.30.5.45/32 172.30.10.1 1",
Framed-Route = "172.30.233.12/32 172.30.10.1 1",
Framed-Routing = None
This works perfectly. However, I am limited to 50 "Framed-Route"
attribute/value pairs.
Question: Is this caused by:
a) A limitation on the TNT
b) A limitation on the Ascend RADIUS software
c) Packet size of the RADIUS reply (having to do with the MTU)
Is there any way to overcome this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Mike
