(ASCEND) TNT Stuck ISDN sessions?
We have had an ongoing problem with the HDLC code on the TNT's that hasn't
been addressed. Every so often, a user will disconnect from the TNT, and
their session seems to be gone: ie, type userstat at a prompt and they
aren't listed, also doing an snmp poll of the users online doesn't show
them connected. But if you do an ifmgr -d, they are showing up as being
connected. When they attempt to re-login, they are disconnected for a LAN
Security Error. The only solution I have found for this is to either
reboot the TNT, or reboot the HDLC card that the session is stuck in.
Does Ascend know about this problem, and if so what is being done to
resolve it? It has been this way for a while now, and I haven't seen
anything about it in the new software revs.
