RADIUS is the norm for most users. The RADIUS/LOGOUT feature was originally
implemented (a looong time ago) to cover the shortcomings of the then draft 
RADIUS spec that did not include any of the Accounting server part which
is now used. Not too many people find a use for it any longer.
