RE: (ASCEND) lan security errors cont..update
Two items to check:
1) Did the user request the IP address ?
(Do you have pool-only set to 'No'? [bad thing to do])
2) Does the user have a profile that assigned the address
(and it in the pool also?)
What version are you running?

i disconnected the REAL user with 205.147.217.43 and now all the errors
have stopped. In an hour i had 260 of these errors. I disconnect that
user, and in the past 15 minutes not a 1!
and while the real user was online he showed up in "show users", SNMP
calls, and had a route in "show ip routes", yet the box insisted the ip
was free it seems.
