RE: (ASCEND) "Ascend-Maximum-Call-Duration" Not working - Re-Post
I have had success with using the following attribute:
Ascend-Maximum-Time = n (n = number of seconds for maximum session)
Hope this helps,

Subject: (ASCEND) "Ascend-Maximum-Call-Duration"
Not working - Re-Post
We did not get an answer to this so we are doing a
re-post - Thanks!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
We cannot get the radius call
"Ascend-Maximum-Call-Duration" to work on
the 4048 properly. We have also tried the
"Session-Limit" with the same
results.
Inside the 4048's we have set the
Ethernet->Answer->Session options->Max
Call Duration to 360 and this works fine. But for
clients that have a
dedicated connection we need to disable this time out.
We are running Merit Radius Server and have enclosed an
excerpt from our
users file. With Merit Radius, the vendor ("Ascend:")
has to be put in
front of the line.
Has anyone had experience in getting this to work
properly?
Thanks,
Ken Rea
