Re: (ASCEND) Lots of routing entrys in a Pipeline
It may be better to have your core router handle the routing
between the pipelines by using a dynamic protocol such as
RIPv2 or OSPF. You can use RADIUS to propagate the routes directly
from your terminal server. An example user entry:
uname Password = "UNIX"
User-Service = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = MPP,
Ascend-Route-IP = Route-IP-Yes,
Framed-Address = 10.0.0.1,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.0,
Framed-Route = "192.168.1.0/24 10.0.0.1 1",
Ascend-Maximum-Channels = 2,
Ascend-Idle-Limit = 64000
The Framed-Route line will send that routing entry to your
terminal server, which can then pass it on to your router
via your IGP of choice (RIPv2, OSPF, etc). Of course, this
assumes your terminal server runs a routing protocol...
Hope that helps!
