Most likely, if you check the "servers" tab in the phone book entry, you'll
find that LCP Extensions are enabled.  Uncheck that box, and try again.
User might also need to check the security tab to make sure that clear text
authentication is enabled.


But, to answer your question:

ethernet->answer->ppp options->VJ Comp->no

Then, add VJ compression in your DEFAULT radius profile, and create a
seperate profile for this clueless user so he can connect.
