(ASCEND) Modem reset timeout

Im wondering if maybe my problem with the 7.X series routing calls to slot
9 instead of the mapped modems, is not shared by others, because of some
timeout/reset sort of param you are all upping as a matter of form and not
giving alot of thought to, that I perhaps am not, that didnt effect
anything in 6.X here, but is in 7.X due to the newer modem code. (or if
you just arent hearing the complaints, or are not scannin logs and we all
have this problem)

This ring any bells?  Any ideas where I might look?
