(ASCEND) Max 4k reset

Hi,
we have 2 max4000, the first with only ISDN connections and febk.m40 7.0.3, 
the second with analog and 2 IDSL and febk.m40 7.0.4.
The first works fine since many months, the second have some problems. After
working fine for about 2 months, 3 months ago started to reset without any
cause. This was for about a week, then it started to work fine again until 4
days ago, when it started to reset again...it works fine but, it happen that
it hang, reboot, sometime it fails boot up check, then reboot, and reboot,
than come back to life again, maybe some minutes, then reboot again, for 3/4
time, and finally it become stable...at least for some hours....
This sounds to me like a possible attack, there are not any relations with
traffic, number of connections alive, or at least I can't find anyone...
IMHO there is a bug somewhere that let max hangup remotely under certain
condition. Anyone experienced this kind of trouble ?
