(ASCEND) Voip - Max4000

I have a Pri(voice) in a remote pop that I need to forward
to another pop. 

(1) Is there a non-voip solution, some type of extension
or
(2) What Ascend equipment on a Max4000 would I need
      (I.E. do I need the DSP card on both ends??)

Would like to hear for anyone that has Used the Max4k
for Voip.
