Re: (ASCEND) MAX 6000 - How well does it perform?



Personally, I think that the Ascend Maxes perform great.  We do have lots of
trouble with people connecting with HSP, and pctel modems.  But I'm guessing
it's due to the fact that those modems are junk.

To set up an ascend, you hook it up to a computer via a console cable.
Pretty straight forward.

Currently, new versions of the TAOS can be retrieved via ftp at
ftp.ascend.com
