(ASCEND) 48-MOD-SC Traps

Hello Folks,

Does anyone know if MAX-TNT and MAX-6000 send traps when modem cards
goes down(fault)?
I'm running Navis Access 4.3 under HP Openview 5.01B and my Manager
Server is a Sun Microsystems E-450 running Solaris 2.6 as well.

We're  experiencing weird problem when a modem card, like a 48-MOD-SC,
goes to fault state and no visual alarms or traps are sent to HP
Openview.
In the box map's Navis Access, the  modem card symbol don't change of
color or state, I think its would show us a defective card as well.
Any idea what's happening ?
