(ASCEND) TNT call failures

We have been having trouble with all of our TNTs (3) where calls are
failing on the PPP negotiation and more specifically LCP.  The problem
seems to happen for both ISDN and analog calls.  We see disconnect codes
of 185 or 41 and progress codes of 77 or 75.  On one of our TNTs we have
CT1s and on the other 2 we have PRIs.  We have seen the problem on both
7.2.0 and 8.0.1 versions of TAOS.  So far Ascend/Lucent has been _NO_
help.  We used our protocol analyzer to watch the calls and we saw no
problems with the setup and tear down of the calls.  Our T1s on the TNTs
have no errors on them at all.  The problem is easily demonstrated with
ISDN due to the high numbers of calls that can be made in a short period.  
We can reproduce the problem with several different isdn routers including
p50s and we notice it on our analog pool with various modems as well.  
When the connection fails with a p50 you can watch the CRC errors increase
at a significant rate in the WAN Stat window (20-300)
