Ironically, that's not SUCH a good idea.. the OLD version of the code
runs better on my sparc 1 than the newer version :-) ANd its slightly
overkill, what with its special handling.

I like acm myself.. but it takes a gx board on my sparc 1 to make it
playable :-/
