If you didn't already know this:
The spoiler was created with this in mind. Everytime you edit e.g. the 
/lib/archetypes file, you can run a make in the /docs/spoiler directory.
The spoiler will then contain the changes you made in the source etc. 

Ofcourse the spoiler is, as it says, a spoiler. Books containing minute 
information would be cool.
