CF: win32 client and XPM

I was looking around on the web to see if XPM is supported
at all under win32 and the answer seems to be no. I found
this one multiplatform gui toolkit called WX or something like
that which runs under both X and win32 and supports
XPM but that is about it. 

Anyone have any idea how a win32 client could be supported with
XPM or would a change to something like PNG be needed?
