CF: Licensing

Licensing issues are the biggest waste of time. It only matters if
a project is at risk of disappearing into the clutches of a commercial
software company. That is not a reasonable threat. It is clearly
not worth the effort to track down contributors to get them to agree
to a change in CF's licensing.

If anyone is reluctant to contribute due to licensing concerns then
licensing issues are worth discussing. But before we start that
discussion, there needs to an individual with a serious desire to
contribute expressing realistic concerns about the licensing of
their contributions.

For example, perl documention could easily become part of a copyrighted
book. Thus, those contributing to perl documentation have a realistic
concern on the licensing of perl documentation. The likelihood of
anyone ever writing books on CF gameplay are nil and so the licensing
issues of documentation are generally irrelevant.
