	Another option would be to revamp the spell code to make
	maintained spells cost mana (rather than just prevent re-
	generation of mana, ie just like golems are currently treated).

	For those really powerfull spells, you just make em drain
	mucho mana/turn so that no one can maintain the spell for 
	long periods of time.
