Is LinuxWorld and MSNBC good enough for ya?  (c:  I didn't
believe it either, but I've seen it in 3 different online news
sites so far.  (The LinuxWorld article is just a reprint of the
InfoWorld article that Bob forwarded.)

The media event seems to be genuine.  As far as the true motive
of Microsoft, I'm still highly skeptical.  They'll probably just
release a few minor modules, of academic interest only.  My guess
is that they were waiting to see how Apple's ASPL thing went, and
are now trying to hedge their bet (as per the MS corporate policy
guidelines).  (c:
