XF86Config and gdm

Well now that I have redhat 6.0 working right (downgraded procmail and it
works fine now) I'd like to try out gdm. The problem is my XF86Config file
always tries to load X in 8bit color and fails because I don't it properly
configured for 8bit. I normally run 'startx -- -bpp 16` and it works fine.
I just added "-bpp 16" to the serverargs in startx so now I can run startx
and X starts fine in 16bit. But gdm tries to load in 8 big and fails. How
can I pass this argument to gdm?

Thanks for all the help,

Ben
