1 - not much more expensive: generics 10 for $13 according to Pricewatch,
    although 5 to 8 dollars each for name brand
2 - more functional: can be treated as a disk, at least under Windoze
3 - more functional: can be re-used
4 - less waste: no more coasters costing money
5 - less waste: no more coasters filling landfills
6 - less waste: no more toxic fumes from microwaving (NASTY)
7 - usable in all recent CD-ROM drives (after 97 or so)

All those are good reasons to use CD-RW (except 1), but that doesn't mean
I do it.

Even with my Plextor 8/2/20, I still use CD-R almost exclusively, and tape
when I want rewrite capabilities.
