RH6 kernel build: resolved

Hi all:

The problems I listed yesterday regarding
building the 2.2.5-15 kernel have been
resolved.  For anyone who is interested
in doing likewise, but has thus far been
unsuccessful, I followed to the letter
the steps described at the RedHat site
specifically for building the 2.2 kernel.
The problem was that I initially missed
the initrd (ram disk) step.  I thought 
that since I was not booting from SCSI
disk, I would not need that step.  For
the 2.2 kernel, that was a mistake.
Since almost everything is a module,
I needed the ram disk to access the 
required resources.

Now I can get the driver done...

Windows 95 or better,
so I installed Linux.
